    3. ABS Plastic Sheet characteristics 1). High rigidity and impact strength; 2). Excellent abrasion resistance; 3). Excellent electrical properties, moisture and creep resistance; 4). ABS has good chemical and stress cracking resistance to inorganic salt solutions, alkalis and many acids (Except strong oxidizing acids); 5). ABS is easily machined to close tolerances, is tough, dimensionally stable and may be vacuum formed.   4. Detailed Properties of ABS Plastic Sheet   ABS plastic sheet, it has good impact strength, formability, stiffness, excellent aesthetic qualities, and toughness, plus general purpose, low cost material. Applications include aircraft interior trim, cassette holders, tote bins and trays, automotive parts, luggage, and more. ABS is an extremely versatile thermoplastic. It has good chemical and stress-cracking resistance. The strength of ABS depends on temperature. ABS is easily thermoformed and lends itself to remarkable reproduction of mold detail. Extruded ABS sheet can be easily heat formed using any conventional thermoplastic sheet forming equipment. The max working temp is 185 deg F and the forming temp is 325 - 350 deg F. Black is UV resistant, while white is not. Sold in sheet size of 48" x 96" (4' x 8').
