The role of the hydraulic torque converter:

The pump wheel is welded to the back cover and it's filled with transmission oil, and it's connected to the engine and it's active. The turbine is connected to the transmission input shaft for power output. When THE TORQUE converter works, THE pump wheel drives the transmission oil into the turbine under the drive of the engine, so as to drive the turbine to rotate and realize the transmission of power from the engine to the transmission system. In the regulating wheel assembly, if the one-way clutch works, the hydraulic torque converter plays the role of torque converter, thus increasing the output of torque; If the one-way clutch does not work (the regulating wheel reverses), the torque converter acts as a coupler.
