This instrument is composed by platiniridium ring, torsion wire, Differential sensor and data procession system. Immerge the Platiniridium ring into the liquid at a certain position when doing Test. Descend the glass container which fill of liquid by motor, strap and stock, at this moment, the film between platiniridium ring and tested liquid has been elongated, and there is a downing force on the platiniridium ring.

The sensor measures the displacement of the other end of lever by torsion of torsion wire, and the film's distortion is translated into voltage, and then translated into relative tensile force value through electrocircuit management and displayed automatically. The tensile force becomes bigger and bigger along with film elongating longer and longer, up to film broken. At this time, record the max value which is the actual tensile force "P" of this liquid, multiply the revising gene "F" of this liquid, the result is actual tensile force value "V" of liquid, namely V=P*F, the revising gene "F" depends on actual tensile value "P", density of liquid, diameter of platiniridium wire and semidiameter of platiniridium ring.
