Butyl O Ring Specification

An all-petroleum product, Butyl is a copolymer of isobutylene and isoprene and has largely been replaced by Ethylene Propylene since its introduction.

With outstanding low permeability to gases, Butyl is especially effective in vacuum sealing applications. It also features excellent resistance to ozone and sunlight aging. Butyl further features excellent shock dampening capabilities. Only slightly affected by oxygenated solvents and other polar liquids, Butyl is often utilized in seals for hydraulic systems using synthetic fluids.

1. SIZE
• ID (inner dimension)
• CS (cross-section)

Shijiazhuang Beike Sealing provides O-rings in all standard and metric sizes, as well as international and special sizes.
 
The O-ring sizes are AS568A dimensions.  Elastomers with different shrinkage rates will have slightly different dimensions and tolerance rates.
 
Standard sizes are listed in inches and metric equivalent sizes in millimeters.
