Our silicas can be used in marine and protective coatings as additives for rheology control and matting. Marine and protective coatings are applied to metal and concrete substrates to provide corrosion and fire resistance, and to protect metal structures, especially from salt water and other environmental influences. Durability is also a top priority. Marine vessels, offshore supply, yachts and container ships are some of the application areas.

Low oil absorption: low oil absorption, even when the added amount is large, it has little effect on the viscosity of the system, and the post-thickening is very small.
