  Product Description   Automatic Mechanical Filter   1. Introduction   Mechanical filter is also known as pressure filter. Mainly used for removing turbidity, reverse osmosis and the front stage treatment for ion exchange softening desalination system. It also can be to filter the sand for surface water, underground water. It is an important part of water purification system. According to the water quality, automatic mechanical filter can be divided into carbon steel anti-corrosion material, steel rubber lining or stainless steel. According to the filling materials, the filter can be divided into the natural quartz sand filter, multi-medium filter, activated carbon filter, manganese sand filter, etc.       2. Working Principles   Mechanical filter is to use one or several of filter medium, under certain pressure, make the raw solution go through the filling materials, to reduce the water turbidity, to remove suspended solids, organic matters, colloid particles, microorganism, chlorine odor and some heavy metal ions in water; so as to achieve the purpose of the filter. Its function mainly depends on the internal loading of packing (generally as followings: quartz sand, anthracite coal, activated carbon, granular porous ceramics, manganese sand, etc.), the user can choose according to actual situation.     4.
