2-(4-Morpholinodithio)benzothiazole is used as accelerator for vulcanization of rubber, and also used as vulcanizing agent. When used as accelerator, the performance in natural rubber is similar to accelerator CZ, but the delay is slightly larger. When used in 54-1(W) type neoprene rubber, with accelerator PZ, it can accelerate the vulcanization speed, with good scorch performance and excellent physical properties of products. When used in styrene-butadiene rubber, the burning performance is poor, can be matched with stearic acid to promote drought burning and improve the fixed tensile strength. When it is used as vulcanizing agent, it is suitable to add a small amount of thiuram or dithiocarbamate to promote drought agent to improve the degree of thiocyanate, and the aging resistance of the products can also be improved. The product is easily dispersed in rubber, almost no pollution. It is mainly used in the manufacture of tires, rubber shoes, sponges, industrial products and so on.
