The liquid to be filtered is pumped into the drum, and as it rotates, the solid particles are retained on the filter screen while the filtered liquid passes through. 

Sewage (or other raw water) flows into the drum from the front of the drum through the drum surface and flows out from the bottom. The suspended solids in the sewage remain on the rotating drum surface. As the drum surface rotates, the trapped dirt is sent from the water inlet end to the discharge end on the other side and is shoveled off by the discharge mechanism. The cleaning system can be controlled by a manual ball valve to clean the drum surface regularly.

Use parameters：

The retained solids are continuously scraped off the filter screen by a scraper blade and discharged. This process allows for continuous filtration without the need for frequent cleaning or replacement of filter media. The rotary drum filter is commonly used in wastewater treatment plants, industrial processes, and aquaculture systems.
