Implementation of RIP protocol on GPON OLT:
In order to meet the demand of network flattening development trend, operators clearly propose to develop Gigabit passive optical network optical line terminal into converged optical line terminal, so that it can have the access function of both converged switch and edge device. In response to this demand, the Gigabit passive optical network system and routing information protocols are studied in depth. This method realizes the three-layer routing function of the optical line terminal of Gigabit passive optical network, and makes the optical line terminal work at the network layer. It streamlines the broadband network layers, reduces the cost of building and maintaining the network, and enhances the network reliability.
