2. Mark, packing, storage and transportation

a. Mark

The trademark of manufacturer should be carved in the inner side of the mould so that each bridge bearing will have the permanent label.

b. Packing

The bridge bearing should be packed by classification and specification. The packing should be firm and reliable, and name of products, specification and manufacture date should be noted on the outside packing. Quality certificate of products should be contained in the inner packing.

c. Storage

(1) The warehouse which store bridge bearing should be dry and ventilative. The bridge bearing should be piled up neatly and keep clean. It is forbidden to connect with the acid, alkali, oils and organic solvent, and keep away from the heat 1m and can not connect with the earth directly.

(2) The storage period of bridge bearing should not be beyond one year. If the storage period is too long, it should conduct the related inspection in using, and the mechanics performance should be suit to the related rules and requirements of this standard.
