Melamine cyanurate type -MCA granular I, odorless and oily white powder, is an environment-friendly halogen-free nitrogen-series flame retardant lubricant, which is mainly applied to polyamide. Melamine Cyanurate has established itself as the FR to achieve UL 94 V-0 andUL 94 V-2 especially for PA 6 and Addition of MCA gives PA6(66) excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Being halogen free also results in significant advantages in terms of fire safety, i.e. lower smoke density, lower smoke-toxicity and less corrosion.
