Head Immobilizer Description

The chin and head straps are included with each thermo-sealed Adult Head Immobilizer. Here is a complete system for your immobilization needs. The Multi-Grip is lightweight, sturdy, buoyant for water rescue, waterproof, x-ray and CT transparent, works with c-collars, backboards, scoops and baskets.

The Item AZ-HI02 Universal Head Immobilizer (head immobilizer) is an emergency patient-handling device designed to aid in immobilizing a patient`s head and neck. It is for professional use only, by a minimum of two trained operators. 

The head immobilizer is constructed with of vinyl dipped foam for durable support and easy to clean. 

The head immobilizer can be used with a Scoop stretcher or on a long (full-length) backboard which has either cervical device slots or a center hole at the head end.

Components

•  A base plate to support the patient`s head and provide insulation and protection from the ground.
•  Two lateral support pads that fasten to the base plate with hook-and-loop fastening strips.
•  Two forehead/ chin straps that hold the lateral support pads in position against the patient`s head and   facilitate application of the scoop.

Head Immobilizer Application

1.Use two long base strap and top retention strap fix the Base plate to spine board.

2.Position the patient on the backboard Fix the patient head with two head pads.

3. Fix the patient head with two forehead straps (fix the patient body with accessories strap and transfer the patient to further treatment)
