Specifications of IQF green peppers
Description of peppers:
Sound green fresh peppers which have been trimmed to remove calyx, seed,
core material and bruised areas.
The peppers are blanched and passed through an Urschel Dicer set to achieve
10x10mm dices. The pieces are then frozen and handled such that the pieces
are separate and free-flowing.
Size: 10x10mm
Packing: 10kg per carton with polythene liner
Colour: uniform green colour.
Off colour: max 1%
Taste: typical of the red capsicum, without any off-taste.
Metal/glass/plastic/stone/sand/soil or any other FMV/EVM: Non-existence.
Contamination: pesticides, fungicides, metals, mycotoxines, radioactivity,
according to US FDA STANDARD.

Spray and fertilizers: Will conform to the limit specified in the Australian Food Standard Code as amended, and the appropriate State Government Food Legislation . Odours and flavours: Characteristic of fresh green capsicum. Texture: Firm and characteristic with fresh frozen capsicum.
