1)Product description : Sound green fresh of Capsicum annum which have been trimmed to remove calyx, seed, core material and bruised areas.The capsicums are blanched and passed through an Urschel Dicer set to achieve a 10mm dice.The pieces are then frozen and handled such that the pieces are separate and free-flowing. 2)General Properties. Spray and fertilizers: Will conform to the limit specified in the Australian Food Standard Code as amended, and the appropriate State Government Food Legislation . Odours and flavours: Characteristic of fresh green capsicum. Texture: Firm and characteristic with fresh frozen capsicum. Additives and preservatives : Nil. 3)Packaging: Polyethylene lined wax free cardboard cartons free from metal fastenings Normally in 10kg net weight cartons. 4)Appearance: green in colour, free flowing 5)Microbiological Analysis ( on frozen product ) Total Plate Count: Will be less than 8,000/g Coliform Will be less than 100/g E - Coli Will be <10/g 6)Enzyme Activity:Will be Negative 7)Shelf Life:24 months from date of freezing, with a storage temp of - 18 degrees C. 8)Storage Conditions:frozen with-in 30 minutes of slicing to - 18 degrees C ( and not below - 24 degrees C ) and stored with-in this rangeuntil delivery. 9)Allergens: Some people may have allergic reactions to capsicums. 10) Genetically Modified: No genetically modified material has been used.
