FUCOIDAN: Functional polysaccharide

Fucoidan is a macromolecular polysaccharide composed of fucose and sulfuric acid group, which was first discovered from the mucous on the surface of kelp, and is only about 1/1000 in in fresh kelp.

It is found in marine animals who eat brown algae, such as trepang and abalone.
