HD K-11 Flexible Waterproof CoatingHD K-11 Description:HD-K11 flexible waterproof coating is a modified acrylic polymer modified cement-based composite waterproof coatings, This coating is composed of high-grade cement&polymer powder and emulsion. Usually,1mm for common projects and 1.5-2mm for underground projects.Installation:Surface preparation1) The substrate must be clean, dry and free of oils, grease, wax, latex compounds, curing compounds, dust and all foreign matter;2) Surface cracks should be repaired.3) Surface should be leveled if there are larger deviations.MIXING It is recommended to use low cycled (350 r/min) electrical mixer in order to make the mortar homogeneous. APPLICATIONThe surface must be pre-wet to saturate and be thoroughly damp, but no visible water.Ensure the material is thoroughly mixed before applying, and applied by a brush or a broom. Decide the thickness and layers based on actual requirements. Usually,1mm for common projects and 1.5-2mm for underground projects. A second coat is required to be applied when the first coat achieving surface dry, usually takes 1-3hours. Spray water to damp surface if exceeding 24hours or surface cured.The Waterproofing Membrane should be maintained for at least 3days or even more.Ceramic tiling application may start minimum 12 hours after application of K11. Before applying tile adhesives onto Waterproofing Membrane, allow the Waterproofing Membrane to fully cure.
