Dicalcium Phosphate Double Cone Vacuum Dryer

Characteristics 

Dicalcium Phosphate is white monoclinic crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless. It is stable in air. When heated to 75 ℃, it will begin to lose crystalline water and become anhydrous. Under  high temperature, it will become pyrophosphate. It is easily soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, slightly soluble in water (100 ℃, 0.025%), and insoluble in ethanol.

Descriptions

Double cone vacuum dryer (also known as rotary conical vacuum dryer) is a new generation of drying machine researched and developed by Griffin. By integrating the technologies of other similar machines, this vacuum dryer is designed with two connecting ways- one is belt, and the other is chain, which has made it stable in operation. With this special design, the excellent concentricity of two shafts can be obtained. Besides, the heat media and vacuuming system adopt USA technologies in rotating connector which have more reliability. Griffin has also developed a new type of vacuum dryer which is able to conduct steeples speed switchand continuous temperature control. The applicable heating media can be thermal oil, steam or hot water. In addition, a special stirring plate buffer has also been designed for adhesive materials drying.

Principle

Heat sources (such as low pressure steam or hot oil) pass through the sealed housing. Heat will be transferred to the raw material and dried through the inner shell. Under the power drive, the tank rotates slowly and the internal materials are continuously mixed. The purpose of strengthening drying is realized. The raw material is in vacuum. The drop of steam pressure saturated and evaporated the water (solvent) on the surface of the raw material. The solvent is discharged by vacuum pump and recovered in time. Internal moisture (solvent) feedstock will continue to permeate, evaporate and discharge. These three processes are ongoing and the purpose of drying can be achieved in a short period of time.

Equipment Performance

●   The vacuum sealing parts and the inlet and outlet parts of circulating water are equipped with rotary joints (imported from the United States, including mechanical seals inside the rotary joints). The sealing is tight and reliable, and the service life is 3-4 times longer than that of the ordinary mechanical seals or packing seals to ensure that the required vacuum is adequate.

●   The feed manhole is a fast opening type, which makes the inspection and repair quick and convenient. A vacuum feed port is arranged on the feed cover, which can realize the material vacuum feed and reduce the labor intensity.

●   1.2mm thick SUS304 wire drawing plate is used in the machine seat of the equipment and the outer sealing panel of the support is detachable, which is advantageous to the maintenance of the equipment.

●   Explosion-proof type of motor is adopted.

●   Sprocket chain drive is equipped.

●   Equipped with the point control switch. The cone can stop accurately at the desired angle to ensure the material unloading is reliable and reliable.

●   The whole frame is welded by the channel steel, which is coated with stainless steel and polished.

Application

●   Applicable to the concentration, mixing and drying of powder, granular materials and fibers of chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries：Materials requiring low-temperature drying(i.e. biological products).

●  Suitable for drying materials which are easily oxidized, volatile, heat-sensitive, strong irritant, toxic or not permitted to destroy its crystals.
