A plano-convex lens is a lens with a positive focal length , with a plane mirror on one side and a spherical mirror on one side.A plano-convex lens is ideal to gather parallel light to a point, which can gather a collimated beam on the rear focus or turn a point light source into a collimated beam, mainly used for monochrome light, such as laser; such lenses are used to gather parallel light, or convert a point light source into parallel light.
