Composite Geotextiles: Having geotextiles on the soils or between two different soil layers, can effectively prevent soil particles moving, in order to prevent the damage of ground due to the excessive loss of soil particles. And meanwhile, allow the water and gas in the soil pass through the textiles freely and discharge. It can prevent the soil from unstability which cuased by the rising of the pressure in the soil pores. The picture is a usage of geotextile in drain/sewer system.
