CNC precision machining is the mainstream machining method at present. When CNC precision machining is carried out, we should not only know the characteristics of CNC precision machining but also know the steps of CNC precision machining, so as to better improve the processing efficiency. So what are the stages of CNC precision machining?

 

1. Analyze the processing drawings and determine the processing technology.

 

Technical personnel according to the processing drawings provided by customers, analyze the shape of parts, dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, workpiece material, blank type, and heat treatment conditions, and then select machine tools and tools, determine the positioning clamping device, processing methods, processing sequence and cutting parameters. In the process of determining the processing technology, we should give full consideration to the command function of the CNC machine tool, and give full play to the efficiency of the machine tool, so that the processing route is reasonable, the cutting tool walking times are less, the processing time is short.

 

2. Reasonably calculate the coordinate value of the tool path.

 

According to the geometry size of the machined parts and the set programming coordinate system, the motion path of the tool path center is calculated, and all the tool position data is obtained. General numerical control systems have linear interpolation and arc interpolation functions. For the contour machining of plane parts with simple shapes (such as parts composed of straight lines and arcs), only the starting point and end point of geometric elements, the center of the arc (or radius of the arc) and the coordinate values of the intersection or tangent point of two geometric elements need to be calculated. If the CNC system has no tool compensation function, the coordinate value of the tool center motion path should be calculated. For the parts with complex shapes (such as those composed of non-circular curves and surfaces), it is necessary to approximate the actual curve or surface with a straight line segment (or arc segment) and calculate the coordinate values of its nodes according to the required machining accuracy.

 

3. Wrote CNC machining program for parts

 

According to the tool track of the parts, calculate the tool track data, and determine the process parameters and auxiliary action, the programmer can according to the used NC system specified function instructions and program format, write the machining program of the parts segment by segment. Note when writing:

 

First, the standardization of programming should be easy to express and communicate;

 

Second, on the basis of being thoroughly familiar with the performance and instructions of CNC machine tools, master the skills of using each instruction and writing program segments.
