Chromium carbonitride Lump is a new alloy of nitriding alloying stainless steel technology. Nitride is an economic usful alloying element, it can increase the hardness of steel, low temperature flexibiliy and weldability, and add timing sensitivity. At same time it can increase mechanical propeties of stainless steel, And improve the ability of anti-corrosion ability, especialy for partial anti-corrosion ability such as intergranular corrosion, pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion etc.
In sturctural steel and tool steel, chromium can improve the hardness, strength, and wear resistance obviously and at same time low down its plasticity, toughness. Chromium can improve oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance of steel as well. So it is important element of stainless steel and heat resistant steel. Currently our domestic manufacture mainly use nitrid ferrochrome as ferro alloy to produce kinds of stainless steel. Now our company is going on the research of using metal carbide to nitride alloying stainless steel. Chromium carbonitride is a new ferro alloy material with good prospect, it substitute nitride ferrochrome to smelt kinds of stainless steel. Its main alloy elment Cr and N is high containing, and the content of harmfulness impurity P. S etc is low. The ultinization rate of nitride is high after joining in melting.
Puting chromium carbonitride alloy in the steel, and on the condition of enough chromium, it can replace The metal nickel partialy or totaly to produce nitride stainless steel by the ultilization of nitride effecting the organization of steel. So it can reduce the cost of production.
