ASTM A213 T22 Alloy Steel Seamless Boiler Tube
T22 Boiler Tube is a high temperature tolerance tube that is used in acidic and corrosive environments such as the hydrochloric processing applications. The material is resistant to strong inducing agents. ASTM A213 T22 tube is also known as chrome moly tube because of the chemical composition of Molybdenum and Chromium. Moly increases the strength of steel as well as resistance to wear, impact qualities, and hardenability. Moly also increases the resistance to softening and makes chromium steel less susceptible to embrittlement. It also enhances the corrosion resistance of steel. Chrome is the essential constituent of stainless steel. Chrome is irreplaceable in resisting oxidation at high temperatures. The composition of chrome moly alloy steel tube makes it ideal for being used in power plants, refineries, petro chemical plants.
