Product Description
A588 Weather Resistant Steel Plate is different from ordinary steel, and the surface will rust like ordinary steel at first. Due to the high degree of alloying, this process is faster than ordinary steel. However, due to the complex internal lattice of Hollow Weathering Steel Plate, a deep black dense rust layer is formed under the loose rust layer on the surface. The rust layer is composed of α-Fe0OH nanoparticles. In this uniform rust layer, nickel atoms replace part of the iron atoms, which makes the rust layer have cation selectivity, inhibits the penetration of corrosive anions, and has better Weather Resistant Structural Steel Sheet performance.
