PTFE Piston Seal Glyd Ring GSF

Hydraulic Seal is a double-acting O-Ring energized piston seal for dynamic applications. Glyd Ring provides low friction with no stick-slip, minimal break out force and high wear resistance. Main application is actuator cylinders.

Consisting of a PTFE seal ring and an O-ring, the Glyd ring is divided into rod and piston type. Hydraulic U Seal is available in different sizes and we can change any dimension to suit your seal application.
Hydraulic U Cup Seals Metric is achieved through a fit between the seal and the hardware, radial force from the O-ring energizer and system pressure. A true slipper seal, Glyd ring or step seal is energized by the O-ring to provide sealing force at zero or low pressure. As the pressure increases, the step seal is energized by hydraulic pressure and is forced against the sealing surface.
