1 The following construction tools should be selected for coated steel pipe:

(1) Metal saw should be used for cutting.

(2) Special grooving machine should be used for grooving.

(3) Cold bending of pipe bender should be adopted for pipe bending.

(4) Electric threading machine should be used to process pipe threads.

(5) The end of coated steel pipe should be deburred and processed with a file.

(6) Small brushes or toothbrushes should be used in liquid epoxy resin coatings with high strength inorganic solvents.

2  The construction procedure of coated steel pipe shall meet the following requirements:

(1) Coated steel pipes should not be buried in reinforced concrete structural layers;

(2) No welding is allowed in the installation of coated steel pipes.

(3) The installation of coated steel pipe should be gradually connected from large caliber to small caliber, and the nozzle should be blocked in time.

(4) In transportation, loading and unloading and construction of coated steel pipes, throwing and severe impact are strictly prohibited.

(5) When the diameter of coated steel pipe is not greater than DN50, cold bending of pipe bender can be used, but the bending radius of curvature should not be less than 8 times the diameter of pipe, and the bending angle should not be greater than 10 degrees.
