Water-Blocking Electric Cable

2) Features:
Manufacture of water-block cables is to add water-block tapes or yarns in stranding process, and wrap one or more layers of water-block tapes out of copper screen. Then when water broke into outer sheath of cable and touched water-block tapes (within and out of conductor), the water-block tapes would swell to exist a water-block section to avoid water's further damaging cable and ensure safe running. Water-block cables are mostly used in environments with more precipitation or high humidity.
