Forged flanges is the best flanges among all kinds of flanges with best mechanical properties. The forged flange does not get rusted easily than casted flanges, because of low carbon content. The liner shape is good and more precise structure, the physical property is much better than casted flanges.In order to eliminate the  inside macrosegregation and shrinkage,the workers continuously hammer the steel ingot after cutting. The price and mechanics property are much higher than normal flanges. Q235 has following properties: yield strength 235MPA, grade I, with good weldability and good elongation; 

Q345E is low-alloy steel but with high strength, yield strength 345MPA, grade II, with much less weldability and lower elongation. 

ASTM A105 has the normal carbon structure steel, it is cold-forging steel. Tensile strength 485MPA, yield strength 250MPA.
