Rubber Accelerator MBT-80 for EPDM SBR IR ETC
PROPERTIES: MBT is a quasi-ultrafast, multi-functional accelerator which has longer plateau of vulcani- zing period to provide excellent physical and mechanical properties to vulcanizates. It is used as antiscorching agent for sulfurless rubber compounds and as a vulcanization retarder for CR compounds. Alkaline accelerators such as aldehyde-amines and guanidines and thiurams, dithiocarbamates can activate MBT.
DOSAGE:
Primary accelerator for NR and SBR: 1.0-2.0phr with 2.0-3.0phr sulfur; for IIR: 0.5-1phr with 0.5-1.5 TMTD-80 and 1-2phr sulfur.
