1. Introduction

Tower crane mast section is the main supporting of tower crane. It is made of steel trussed sections that are connected together during installation.

Based on required tower crane models, mast sections have several types of models. Among them, 1.2m*1.2m*3.0m, 1.6m*1.6m*3.0m, 2.0m*2.0m*3.0m type of mast sections are common used. 1.2m is S24 mast section for MC80 &MC85 Tower cranes. 1.6m means the L44A1, L46A1 model mast section. 2m Tower Crane Mast Section means L68B1, L68B2, L68B3 mast sections. BQ tower crane l68b2 mast section is made of round steel, which could be used as Potain Crane Masts.
