Discription:

KMC Modified Starch Adamyl 2075 has excellent flexural resistance, good transparency, low temperature stability and acid resistance. Due to the introduction of acetyl groups, the starch has lower gelatinization temperature, higher hot viscosity and good composition. Film properties and anti-aging properties, and cross-linking bonds increase the paste viscosity of starch and improve the thermal paste stability and freeze-thaw stability of the paste liquid. Used as thickener, stabilizer, coagulant and extender in food.

Acetylated Distarch Adipate is a white to similar white powder, odorless, tasteless, insoluble in cold water and ethanol, and turns reddish-brown in contact with iodine. Acetylated distarch adipate is a compound modified starch obtained by cross-linking and esterification of starch with a mixed acid anhydride of adipic acid and acetic anhydride, and double-denaturing the starch. It is a bifunctional compound modified starch.

In food processing, mechanical treatment is frequently applied and heat treatment and/or low pH conditions are important features. Under these conditions, a native potato starch is not suitable, thus a modification is required.
