Advantages of magnetic ring type cores.
High initial permeability (this is the basic requirement for common mode inductors), high saturation magnetic induction strength, temperature stability compared to ferrite (can be interpreted as a small temperature rise), more flexible frequency characteristics because of the high permeability, very small can make a large inductance, adapt to a wider frequency.
