Radiators need bleeding when pockets of air get trapped inside. The air causes the radiator to circulate hot water less effectively and so less heat is emitted, meaning it will take longer to heat your home. and so you'll need to bleed any radiators on which you do find them. Use a bleeder key to release impossibly loud noises of water radiator

Use a radiator key, 5mm square, and slowly turn the key counterclockwise until water starts dripping out. This will release trapped air and let hot water into the cold fins. While you're at it, you should repeat the process with your other radiators.
