Flash Setting Admixture (liquid) 

GK-3B (liquid), aluminum sulfate as main component, conform to the standard of JC477-2005 Flash Setting Admixture for Shotcrete. It apply to wet shotcrete construction and can set and harden the concrete in a short time, which avoid the dust pollution caused by powder flash setting admixture, greatly improve the construction condition environment. It is widely used in shotcrete concrete projects, such as railway, highway tunnel, mine projects etc.

Technical Parameter

1. Physical and chemical index: acidic liquid with density of 1.40～1.50g/cm³.

2. The recommended liquid dosage is 6 - 8%. The optimal dosage shall be confirmed by cement adaptation testing before using.

3. Initial setting time ≤4 min and final setting time ≤10min.

Application

1. According to the difference of cement varieties, dosage and water to cement ratio, it can be adjusted the flash setting admixture dosage to get suitable setting function and the concrete physical properties.

2. The temperature of environment affects the setting rate and early-age performance of shotcrete. The specific dosage shall be adjusted and confirmed by testing according to the performance requirement and environment condition.

3. Do not be used mixed with other flash setting admixture of shotcrete. If other kinds of flash setting admixture are needed to use, please clean the whole equipment with water.

4. The product is faintly acid and slightly corrosive. Please avoid prolonged contacting with skin. If splashed on the skin, please clean with water immediately.

 Packing and Storage 

1. Packing: 200 litre per plastic barrel and 1000 liter per plastic tank, in bulk or packing according to customer’s requirement.

2. Storage：the guarantee period is half a year. if expired, it can only be used after inspecting qualified. Avoiding direct sunlight, and pay attention to damp proof and waterproof.

2. Avoid contacting with skin. Please wash immediately with clear water when the product contacts with skin and eyes. It should be timely taken medical treatment if any allergies and other adverse reactions happened.
