Functions
Broadcast Storm Control
The network will be clogged when the broadcasting and
Multicasting messages exceed the limit. For PE61102-116E, the
overfull data will be filtered out in the network.
VLAN will divide one network into multiple logical subnets. Data
packets can not be transmitted between different VLANs so as to
control the broadcast domain and segment flow to improve the
reliability, security and manageability. PE61102-116E supports
IEEE802.1q. VLAN can be divided based on ports. You can divide
the VLAN by control station or WEB station easily.
QoS Prioritization
IEEE802.1P is the most used-widely prioritization solution in LAN
environment. With this function, you can make port-based priority
settings and assign different level priority to different ports
Port Trunking
Ethernet Trunking employs port trunking technology and can
bind up to 8 physical Ethernet ports together. Like the normal
Ethernet port, the Eth-trunk port supports different services, most
of which can be configured directly on the Eth-trunk interfaces.
But note the QoS should be configured on the physical ports in
binding.
