The  pellet fuel  is delivered from a storage facility or a day tank (single stove) to the combustion chamber. Using the generated heat, the circulating water is heated in the pellet boiler. Then in the central heating system, hot water flows through the heating circuit. The heat distribution is the same as other central heating systems. Unlike oil or gas heating, it is recommended to include a hot water reservoir in the pellet heating system to save hot water until needed.
