Cut2Size Metals offers stainless steel plate in Type 304 and Type 316/316L, the two most commonly used stainless steel grades, respectively. Type 304 and Type 304 Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Plate316/316L stainless steel plates are commonly used in the marine, chemical, and food service industries because of the metal's corrosion resistance and anti-bacterial qualities, making them the most popular choices among our customers. Because Type 316 contains a higher level of nickel, it has better corrosion resistance than the 304 grade, making it the ideal choice for marine and environmental applications because of its resistance to corrosion from saltwater.
