As a special infrared LED, you can name 700nm LED as near infrared LED and also deep red LED. It's kind of visible red LED, because when it's working, you can easy to see a clear deep red color from the middle of the LED. But when we give a brightness test for it, it comes a low low value as "mcd" or "lm". So for this infrared LED with 700nm wavelength we use to count it as "mw/sr". 700nm-705nm LED.This series of 700nm LED is an AlGaAs LED mounted on a lead frame and encapsulated in various types of epoxy lens which offer different design settings.On forward bias,it emits a high power radiation of typical 18mw with a peak wavelength at 700nm. We packaged this 700nm LED with blue and small diameter epoxy lens. Which can meet some project's requirement. There also have other lens color, size, shape for this infrared LED.
