304 ss wire mesh

304 ss wire mesh This is a very strong woven mesh indeed. 

It is a costly mesh to produce; which explains why it is more expensive than most other woven wire mesh specifications. 

We don't carry a huge stock of this material; which is why we have only made A4 and A3 sheets available. We can supply larger sheets too.

Cutting will require very heavy tin snips, or an industrial guillotine. 

This mesh has always proven to be very popular with engineers and individuals looking to block a gap with a very strong product.


S304 also has outstanding forming and welding characteristics. 

Plain Weave

Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by The Mesh Company. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa. 

Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.

Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.
