Zirconia Ceramic:

Zirconium oxide ceramics will produce large volume changes due to the transition from monoclinic phase to tetragonal phase. When cooling, large volume changes will occur in the opposite direction, which will easily cause cracking of the product and limit the high temperature of pure zirconia. Field applications.
