1.Location
Closed Circuit Cooling Towers must have an adequate supply of fresh air to all inlets.
When units are located adjacent to building walls or in enclosure .Care must be taken to ensure that the warm ,saturated discharge air is not deflected and drawn back to the air inlets .
2.Think on compatibility of liquid (gas)
The fluid to be cooled must be compatible with the coil material .Fluids not compatible with ciol materials can lead to corrosion and tube failure .Certain fluids may require occasional pressure cleaning or mechanical cleaning of the inside of coil tubes .in such cases the coil must be designed to provide this capability .
3.Piping and Valves
Piping must be size and installed in accordance with good piping practice .All piping should be supported by pipe hangers or other supports ,not by the cooling tower .External shut off valves may also be required if the system design necessitates the isolation of individual tower cells .
4.Capacity Control
In general season ,the performance of most closed circuit cooling tower will vary dues to the change of its environmental wet bulb temperature .Therefore ,when the change of environmental temperature leads to the difference of liquid temperature ,in this case ,capacity control will be required .
