Instruction manual of Waffle Cone Maker
Operation:
- Wipe all cooking surfaces with a clean cloth before use
- On first usage the non-stick plates may emit a slight odour this is normal and will soon disappear
- Lightly oil the plates in the base and lid of the appliance
- Plug the appliance into the mains
- The red light will illuminate until the optimum cooking temperature is attained, when the red light will go out and the green light will come on.(the red and green lights will fluctuate during cooking this is an indication that the correct temperature is being thermostatically maintained)
- Carefully pour the correct amount of the prepared batter (see recipes) onto the centre of the mould in the base of the Cone Maker, ensuring that it is placed centrally
- Close the lid slowly, so that the mix is dispersed evenly across the plate, and leave for about 30 seconds, then lift the lid to see if the cone mix is cooked, if not lower the lid and continue cooking and checking at 10 second intervals (cooking times will vary slightly dependent on ingredients) be careful not to over-cook.
- Once the cone mix has a light golden brown appearance carefully remove from the mould, using a plastic spatula and quickly lay it onto the cone former and wrap it round to form a cone shape once the cone starts to cool it will harden (cones not required for immediate use should be stored in an air-tight container)
General Care:
The Cone Maker can be cleaned by wiping with a clean, soft, damp cloth always disconnect from the Mains and allow to cool down sufficiently before cleaning (however the plates are easiest to clean before they go completely cold)
Avoid the use of metallic tools or metal abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the non-stick-plates
