After one dose of chickenpox vaccine in adults, the seroconversion rate of antibody was low, and the T cell response was weak. Only when the second dose of chickenpox vaccine was given at an interval, could the immune response reach the level of healthy children. 757 healthy adolescents and adults in the United States and Canada were vaccinated with two doses of vaccine (0,4 weeks and 0,8 weeks) in the United States and Canada. The results showed that both vaccination schemes could induce good immune response. The seroconversion rate was 97% - 99% at 12 weeks after inoculation, and 100% at half a year after inoculation. One year after inoculation, it was 97% - 98%. During the follow-up period of 6-12 months, 46 people were exposed to varicella, and 2 (4.3%) developed varicella.
