Product description

Product Description   UV Sterilizer/ ultraviolet lamp sterilizer/ drinking water sterilizer     Ultraviolet sterilization (UV) is a process to eliminate biological contamination, namely parasite fungus and bacteria. Two types are commercially available, both in tube size. Generally the one  containing a wet bulb -at which the water passes directly past the UV bulb- is cheaper.   The other type available has a protective quartz tube around the bulb (dry bulb). The latter has the  advantage of easier cleaning, since debris and slime will eventually settle on the bulb, or quartz  surrounding. Both work on the same principle.   UV sterilization exposes the contaminants with a lethal dose of energy in the form of light. The UV  light will alter the DNA of the pathogens, by virtually gluing DNA molecules together. The changed cell structure prevents the organism from reproducing itself (sterilization), therefore eliminating it.         working principle   How UV Disinfection Works
Unlike chemical approaches to water disinfection, UV provides rapid, effective inactivation of microorganisms through a physical process. When bacteria, viruses and protozoa are exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, they are rendered incapable of reproducing and infecting. UV light has demonstrated efficacy against pathogenic organisms, including those responsible for cholera, polio, typhoid, hepatitis and other bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases. In addition, UV light (either alone or in conjunction with hydrogen peroxide) can destroy chemical contaminants such as pesticides, industrial solvents, and pharmaceuticals through a process called UV-oxidation.   Microorganisms are inactivated by UV light as a result of damage to nucleic acids. The high energy associated with short wavelength UV energy, primarily at 254 nm, is absorbed by cellular RNA and DNA. This absorption of UV energy forms new bonds between adjacent nucleotides, creating double bonds or dimers. Dimerization of adjacent molecules, particularly thymine, is the most common photochemical damage. Formation of numerous thymine dimers in the DNA of bacteria and viruses prevents replication and inability to infect.   Application     1, Food, beverage, beer, edible oil, all kinds of canned goods, cold drinks products etc. using water  disinfection 2, Electrons industry ultra pure water, military camps, outdoor water supply system 3, Hospital, lab, high content causative agent waste water disinfection 4, Residents building, housing estate, office building, hotel, restaurant, waterworks disinfection 5,Aquatic product processing purification, shellfish purification, fish processing purification etc. 6, Town wastewater sterilization 7, Swimming pool, other entertainment water sterilization 8, Thermal power, industrial cooling water, central air conditioner system cooling water disinfection 9, Biology, chemical pharmaceutical, cosmetic using water disinfection 10, Seawater, freshwater seeding, aquaculture water, total processing water can reach 200,000 tons per day 11,Agricultural water, greenhouse water, irrigation disinfection etc.     Technical Parameters     Detailed Images       FAQ Q: Is UV 100% effective? A: UV disinfection typically offers a 99.99% reduction in both bacteria and virus and is more effective than chemical disinfection processes at destroying viruses.   Q: Does UV remove E. coli? A: Yes, E. coli requires a UV dose of between 6 to 12 mJ/cm2 to achieve 4-log disinfection. This is well within the capabilities of the Sterilight UV system.   Q:How much does it cost to operate? UV systems are extremely economical to operate. A: A typical household UV system operates on the same power requirements as a 40 watt light bulb!   Q: Will UV change the taste or smell of my water? A: UV is a physical disinfection process, no additives are required. It does not change the taste or odour of the water. It simply provides safe reliable disinfection.       Company Information        Our Services We provide 24 hours online customer service.
