                                                   Ultrafiltration(UF) Membrane

Ultrafiltration technology instruction:

(A)Principle of UF : Ultrafiltration is a micro membrane sever technology,depending on the tangential fluid flow and pressure-driven filtration process with aparted particles,make different pressure as power,raw materials flowing in the membrane surface. Solvent and small solute in the raw materials penetrate from high-pressure to the low-pressure side,so the dissolved substances and smaller than aperture substances can go through membrane.  While the other substances will be intercepted by UF membrane. Concentrated liquid is the most thickness of left filtered liquid,so this process achieves the target of purification,separation and enrichment.

(B) Main separated substances:

Colloid(Non-activated silicon,iron and alumium),bacteria,virus and potozoa other microorganisms,in 2000-50 Dalton molecular weight of macromolecules(Proteins,amino acids,enzymes and so on).

(C) The characteristics of Ultrafiltration:

1. UF technology is a high technology achieving solution purification,separation and concentration target. It is a high efficiency,environmental and energy conservation separating process;

2 .With lower pressure as driving power to separate particles according to the size of molecular weight. Such as the production of pure water and mineral water,reuse of industrial water.

3. UF separate process is working in room temperature,low power,no transformation. It has a particular application in food-processing,pharmaceutical industry,bio-technology and other fields.

4. Ultrafiltration process with widely scale and strong treating ability,with compact structure,easily aparted and combined with another components,automatically control. For example UF+RO,its a best combination of membrane style desalination of water treatment.

5. Ultrafiltration membrane silk with strong resistance oxidation,widely raw liquid treatment. Ultrafiltration membrane silk modified by hydropile,inner and outer wall smooth with strong pollution resistance,membrane silk water yield attenuation rate lower within certain time.
