Descriptions of 32944 bearings
32944 bearings are uniquely designed to manage both thrust and radial loads on rotating shafts and in housings. We manufacture all types of  tapered roller bearing combinations – in single, double and four-row tapered roller bearing configurations. Customized geometries and engineered surfaces can be applied to these tapered roller bearings to further enhance performance in demanding applications.   32944 bearings consist of four interdependent components: the cone, or inner ring; the cup, or outer ring; the tapered rollers, or rolling elements; and the cage, or roller retainer. The taper angles allow the bearing to handle a combination of radial and thrust loads. The steeper the cup angle, the greater the ability of the tapered roller bearing to handle thrust loads.   32944 bearings can take both large axial forces, and radial forces due to their cup and cone design. The inner and outer races are separable and shaped like a cone; the rollers also have a taper. This tapered design distributes the weight and results in a bearing capable of handling relatively high loads. The larger the half angles of these cones the larger the axial force that the bearing can sustain. The outer race is called the cup and the non-separable inner race and rollers are called the cone. Internal clearance is created during installation by the position of the cone in relation to the cup. Single-Row Tapered Roller Bearings  The most basic and widely used tapered bearing, the single-row type consists of the cone assembly and the cup. It is usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. During equipment assembly, single-row bearings can be set to the required clearance (endplay) or preload condition to optimize performance.   Single-row tapered roller bearings have positive roller alignment that ensures true rolling motion and generates a “seating force” that pushes the roller against the cone large rib. This seating force prevents the rollers from skewing off apex, thereby keeping them positively aligned and located against the cone large rib. Double-Row Tapered Roller Bearings  Double- or two-row tapered roller bearings feature double cups and two single cones. They are available in a variety of configurations for general industrial and automotive applications. Four-Row Tapered Roller Bearings  Four-row bearings provide maximum capacity in minimum space, combining the inherent high-load, radial/thrust capacity and direct/indirect mounting variables of tapered roller bearings.   Their main application is on the roll necks of rolling mill equipment.  All four-row bearings are supplied as pre-set matched assemblies with all components identified to ensure correct installation sequence. Tapered roller bearings (TRBs) utilize rolling elements that are shaped like a truncated cone (Figure 1), and are constructed so that all tapered surfaces converge at a common apex point on the bearing centerline to yield true rolling motion (Figure 2). Tapered roller bearings are generally used in lower speed, high load applications and are capable of absorbing radial and/or axial loads. The internal angles may be designed to tailor the bearing to the loading demands of a specific application. Tapered roller bearings are a separable two-piece design (cup and cone) (Figure 3); which, allows the end-use to optimize the internal clearance (and life) for each application when the bearing is mounted. PEER primarily manufactures single row (TS), sealed single row (LA), and matched set tapered roller bearings.   Specifications of 32944 bearings
32944 bearings  is made of chrome steel, is unsealed, and has a steel cage. This single row taper roller bearing is suitable for applications that support both radial and axial loads. This bearing's inner and outer races are made of chrome steel for durability and resistance to deformity under heavy loads. This bearing is open for lubrication in place. A steel cage evenly spaces rollers for reduced friction, vibration, and noise. This bearing supports heavier loads than bearings with comparable-sized ball bearings. This taper roller bearing is suitable for use as a wheel bearing. Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others.
