Brief introduction:
Ring die types tend to be regularly used for pellets making of medium to large-scale. The benefits of ring die system for eliminating roller skip are reduced power consumption, extended consumable parts life and improved pellet quality. The materials like sawdust, wood chips, wood logs, rice husk, sunflower seed shells, peanut shells, and other kinds of agricultural wastes go through crushing, drying, compression and finally formed solid biomass pellets.
Applicable scope of raw materials:
Wood, straw, cotton stalk, rice husk, peanut shell, bamboo, empty fruit branch,
Waster paper, and Palm fiber etc.
Requirements for raw materials:
Size: 1-2mm(All the raw materials must be crushed into sawdust before going to wood pellet machine. If not, you may need a wood chipper, wood crusher. )
Moisture: Generally, 10-15% is best for producing good quality wood pellet.
If too high, or too low, you need to dry or moisture them first.
Characteristics of ring die wood pellet mill:
1. The feeder's special structure makes materials conveyed evenly, it is specially designed for pellet of light substance with the density of 0.3-0.6g/ cm3
2. Feeder, conditioner and chute are made of stainless steel with long service life
3. It is with magnet and over load protection system, which can protect machine well during production
4. Feeder is with a variable speed controlled to meet different outputs requirements
5. It makes gear directly-connecting as the driver, and is with quick-release die fixed by clamps, which can increase the output 15% more than the same type machine with belt-convey
Ring Die Pellet Machine working Principle:
After grinding and drying process, the materials will be sent into feeding device and mixed in the conditioner. Then they are forced into the pelletizing chamber by the imperative feeder. In the chamber, materials are squeezed between the rollers and die to form into cylinder shape pellets. As they are extruded, cutting knives will cut the pellets into specified size.
