Sulfamethazine Residue Rapid Test Device is used to qualitatively detect Sulfamethazine in honeysamples at the sensitivity of 10μg/kg , and it can be performed outdoors. It only takes approx. 30min.
Sulfamethazine (SM2) is a broad spectrum antibiotic which is widely used as bacteriostatic agents in animal husbandry and veterinary practice, but also as feed additives, mainly for fattening of calves and pigs. Combined with inhibitors of dihydrofolate reductase such as trimethoprim, tetroxoprim, or pyrimethamine Sulfamethazine are also used in veterinary medicine for the treatment of intestinal infections, mastitis, pulmonitis and other (systemic) diseases. However, in humans it leads to hematotoxic side effects. Particularly the transmission of the carcinogenic sulfamethazine represents a threat to human health.
TheSulfamethazine Residue Rapid Test Device is a rapid test to qualitatively detect the presence of Sulfamethazine in honey specimens at the sensitivity of 10μg/kg . The major advantages of the one step test device is that it can be performed outdoors, and the results can be observed by visual Test.
