Aeronautical wire rope

After the fatigue test, the wear part should have enough strength, that is, breaking tension (see wire rope inspection) can not be less than 50% of the broken tensile force specified by the wire rope. The aeronautical wire rope also requires high corrosion resistance. For example, a jet plane flying at a height of 10 thousand meters, its 90% flight time is at minus 50 degrees. When landing in the atmosphere, the temperature changes very fast, and dew often appears on the surface of the wire rope. In addition, when the brake is down, the engine will pour smoke through the aileron, the auxiliary wing and the vertical rudder, which will strongly corrode and pollute the wire rope. The varieties of air wire rope are single strand wire rope, organic core wire rope and metal core wire rope. The typical structures are 1 * 7, 1 * 19, 6 * 7+IWS, 6 * 19+IWS, 6 * 7+NF, 6 x 19+NF, etc. The raw materials used for the air wire rope are galvanized steel wire and stainless steel wire for carbon structural steel. The coating of galvanized steel wire should be uniform, no crack and exfoliation. After passing the inspection, the raw materials are closely and neatly wrapped up on the specified I-wheel according to the technological requirements, and put on the strands, and then close the rope on the rope closer. The twist direction (see wire rope twisting) except the single strand is left twisting, all right twisting. The core of the rope is usually made of cotton or hemp, soaked in neutral oil or used in metal core. The distance of the wire rope should be 6 to 8 times the diameter of the rope, and the length of the wire in the rope and single strand should not exceed 12 times the diameter of the wire. The distance between the rope strands and the distance of the steel wire should be uniform on the length of the wire. The diameter of the central wire of the rope strands should be thickened.
