Characteristics:

High hardness, good wear-resistance, light in weight, energy saving,

neat appearance, external hard inside tough, not broken.

  1. Material and physical properties for the grinding balls 1) Material: The grinding ball is prepared by nodular irons containing alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum, chromium, copper and so on.  2) Physical properties: The grinding balls show higher hardness (surface hardness of HRC60. After using, the surface hardness of the balls is about HRC64.) and good impact toughness of 7~10 J/cm2.    2. Advantages of the grinding ball over the other balls presently used  1) High hardness and good wear-resistance: Microstructure of our grinding balls is the caibide-containing bainite and  retained austenite,  together with certain uniformly distributed spheroidal graphites.  The retained austenite is favorable to increase surface hardness of the balls due to work-hardening through severe impact  and friction between them, and the high-hardness surface layer will be continuously formed with a decease in ball size.  Accordingly, good wear resistance is obtained for our balls.  2) High hardness in outer layer, together with good toughness in interior, then uneasy broken for our grinding balls: Our ADI grinding balls present high surface hardness of HRC63 and good impact toughness of  ak=7~10 J/cm2.  This value is about 2~3 times of the low-chromium ball and the high-chromium balls.  Though the forged balls exhibit almost same toughness as ours, lower hardness (surface hardness: HRC54~55, core hardness: HRC42~43) greatly limits their application. Therefore, direct or indirect economic losses caused by broken balls can be greatly decreased.  3) Well-defined shape for our grinding balls: The balls are formed on an automatic productin line of the sand-coated iron mould, and then heat-treated on automatic line.  Furthermore, the stable processing makes our formed balls be in well-defined shape,  which is well kept  even during the ball working.  Then good efficiency can be obtained for the ball mill.   4) Light in weight for our grinding balls: More nodular graphite contained in our grinding balls results in a density of 7.3 t/m3, which is about 8% lower than that of the low-chromium balls, high-chromium ball and the forged  balls  (about 7.7t/m3). About 8% electric power can be saved for users due to a decrease in loading for the ball mill, contamitant with a decrease in abrasion between the relevant parts and an increase in service life for our ball mill. On the other hand, the nodular graphite contained in tour grinding balls will greatly decrease noise produced during the ball mill operation. Then workers will have an improved working environment.    The above mentioned advantages result in that our grinding balls exhibit long service life, high milling efficiency, and then low loss in balls. Results from many users proved that our ADI grinding balls have a service life about 1.5~2 times longer than the conventional low-chromium balls, 0.3~0.5 times longer than the high-chromium balls, and one times longer than the forged balls. According to the users’ reports, about 20~30% consumption has been saved for our grinding balls.   For more information, please contact me!   Company Information   Our company is awarded as "well performing contracts and keeping credit enterprise" by government for successive years.
