The Type 17 "Cutter Point" helps prevent splitting with installing with power tools. Features: Available in Type 18-8, 304, 316 Stainless Steel Available with either square or 6-lobe drive Type17 Point or sharp point, End of threaded section include cutting edge & chip cavity Coarse threads approximately 2/3 up the shank draw the decking and other material tightly to the substrate Choose 316 stainless steel for seaside applications and superior corrosion resistance Drill Bit included in each package Pre-Drilling recommended near board ends to prevent splittings #8 and #10 screw : 2# Square Drive #12 and #14 screw: 3# Square Drive Durable coated finish-- painted head blend with Decking material.
